Cancellation / Postponement / Refund Policy

Change of Mind

Memberships are not refundable for change of mind.

If You Cannot Attend

Membership remains valid for the duration of the membership period. Non-attendance does not qualify for a refund.

If We Postpone an Event

If an event is postponed:

  • Membership will automatically transfer to the new date.
  • If the new date is unsuitable, members may request a credit or refund of the relevant unused portion within 14 days of announcement.

If We Cancel an Event

If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled:

  • Members will be offered a refund of the relevant unused portion, or
  • A credit toward a future Aliens Collective event.

Major Changes

If there is a major change to:

  • Event date (significant shift)
  • Location (significant relocation)

Members may request a remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Extreme Weather / Government Shutdown

Where an event cannot proceed due to:

  • Fire restrictions
  • Severe weather
  • Council or Police direction
  • Public health orders

Aliens Collective will provide a reasonable remedy consistent with Australian Consumer Law.
